Overall the product seems very good but not appropriate for all glass sizes. The material feels somewhat like a sweatshirt. My disappointment is that the ends are 2 large for most of my glasses, and the glasses slip out. When these arrived, an attached tag stated "large end". The item description states "standard end". Had "large end" been indicated in the item description I would not have bother to order these. They are an acceptable fit on one pair or RayBan's that are thicker around the ear but I rarely use those. It looks like they will fit fine on glasses that have at least a medium width temple cover (the part of the frame around your ear). You may want to avoid these if you have thin plastic or wire frames with thin temple covers as I have both and those glasses slip out too easily.

If my glasses had thicker ends these might get 5 stars but they are useless with thin/small end glasses and incorrectly described by the seller as "standard-end" when they shipped "large-end".

I bought these as I hike/camp in the deserts of Southern California and needed something that would give me total eye protection during the daylight hours and these fit the bill perfectly! Quality made and they come in a nice hard shell clam case that protects them in your pack. The leather side pieces give great shielding from side rays and fit snugly, but comfortably.

The only caution I would add to this review is I don't use these for driving, as the leather side pieces do slightly obscure your peripheral vision. But for the intended purpose these are awesome. Stylish too.

I've been purchasing red aviators, as pictured, for several years. Have gone through about 20 pairs at least. The glasses I buy look just like the picture, dark red, black earpieces.

As you can see in the video, these glasses are CLEARLY not as pictured. They have red earpieces, and the lenses are pink/purple. (Not to mention this particular pair came with a crack in one of the lenses.)

These are getting returned tomorrow. I wonder if the person listing the ad or fulfilling the orders is colorblind.

I know I'm just echoing others, but yes, the glasses received are not the same as the ones pictured. The tint was more of a pink fade, and the ends of the ear pieces were red, not black. That said, they didn't look so bad, and I got some nice compliments abou them.

I wound up losing them in the ocean the very same day they arrived, and decided to order another pair from a different seller. It seems like all these folks selling cheapo tinted aviators use the same stock product photos, but the glasses I got from the other seller DID in fact match the product picture. The second pair I got are a very deep red, and the end of the ear pieces are black.

All in all, I was not happy with the "sunglasses" as they don't function as sunglasses at all. If you are looking for red glasses, these are exactly what you are looking for, the red color is good. Just not what I was looking for.

Bolle Python Sunglasses

I had the same pair stolen out of my car one year ago and wanted to replace them as I had never had a better, more comfortable pair. The pair I originally had however had the "b" on the sides, but the new ones have Bolle spelled out on the stems. Not sure why this is, but the glasses are otherwise the same. Love the polarized lenses which offer great protection in glaring sun. Definitely recommend!

Let me start with my one and only compliant, the glasses pictured are not the ones I received. The difference is the 'B' emblem on the side pictured is different. The glasses I received have 'bolle' spelled out. Not a big deal and as far as I can tell, everything else seems the same. Very minor issue.

That being said, I love them. Great fit, i'm of medium build. the polarized lenses are super clear and provide full coverage from the sun. I put them to the test immediately on a Caribbean vacation and everything was well. I've been a long time Oakley wearer and couldn't be happier with these Bolle's. great price, great product. Thanks

glasses are light, i barely feel them on my face. They sit up high on the bridge of my nose and never move thanks to the Thermogrip technology. I couldn't believe how crisp and clear everything was as I wear them. The Polycarbonate lenses are amazing! It is Autumn and the multiple colors in the trees almost pops out as I look at them. The lenses do not dull anything.

I got the waterfi ipod shuffle kit for my birthday, and it has intensely enhanced my swimming experience. I swim laps about 5 times a week for an hour or so, and the product turns the dull exercise into a rejuvenating experience. The ipod can be connected snugly to the back of your goggles and you won't even know it's there. The only potential problem comes from the head phones, which are probably the weakest link in waterproof music. I did plenty of research on a variety of headphones, and it seems they just haven't perfected the technology. The waterfi headphones come with several sizes, so it is easy to fit into your ear. I experience a problem occasionally if there is not enough slack on the wire, which can cause an errant stroke or turn of the head to jostle the ear bud enough to allow a little water to sneak in. Otherwise, excellent product--I thoroughly recommend it.

The iPod works great but the headphones started off a bit shaky! I swim 2,500 meters with them doing flip-turns the entire time with almost no problems. It is imperative to read the instructions! All underwater headphones on the market currently have mixed reviews. Use the biggest size ear inserts that will fit comfortably. Take off the plastic ear-wrap-around pieces. Sure you could try to tuck them in your goggles. Although you may think it helps, it doesn't! Cleaning the ear buds with a q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol before each use helps clean them. I highly recommend the Aqua Sphere Kayenne Goggle goggles which have an additional strap where you can clip the iPod right on the goggles instead of the Velcro that comes with the iPod. A zip tie is also a much better way to permanently bundle up the slack in the wires. If you follow these instructions and swim laps by turning around at the wall you should have absolutely no problem. If you utilize flip-turns to turn around, due to ear pressurization at times it might sound less clear. But, for the most part it works great.

The waterproof iPod works great! Its a completely different experience swimming underwater with music in your ears, and it really helps pass the time when swimming laps. However, since this product review is for the bundle, I had to give it only three stars because the ear phones are awful. They came out of the packet broken only playing sound through one ear bud, and from what I've read of other reviews, it's a common problem. It's a shame that these are the headphones that Waterfi chooses to supply with their otherwise exceptional product. The headphone look cheap, feel cheap, and they come in a package with spelling mistakes on it.

I recommend buying the Waterfi iPod shuffle alone, and purchasing the headphones somewhere else.

This product is a must for anyone that swims recreationally, and by swimming I mean kilometres each week not three lengths once a month. Swimming is the perfect exercise but it is terminally boring in a pool. This product allows you to drown the monotony with music of your choice. There is a weakness that you should be aware of however and that is that you can break the earphones by plugging into the ipod when it is wet. It appears to create a short. I really love the waterproof shuffle over other waterproof mp3 players I have used in the past (though I was happy with them until I got this!). The ability to shuffle between playlists, and fast-forward quickly, is great, especially for listening to books on tape. Not to mention the fact that your music can shuffle! When I got the red striped glasses in the mail they were damaged to the point where it was basically unwearable. I came on Amazon and wrote a two star review because usually I was angry, especially since the other glasses they've sent me were in very nice condition and this one was not. The reason I didn't return or complain further was because of the same reason, the glasses were cheap and I had so many other ones that I just didn't care. What shocked me was that they cared, enough so to email me and then call me. The representative told me she sent out new ones that she evaluated herself and said it was in the best possible condition. I was so shocked and happy when she called to tell me that. She even said it was going to be free shipping and that I could keep and throw away the ones I had. For that I need to re-evaluate my previous statements on these glasses. If you're just after the Wayfarer style, and you're one of those people that doesn't want to invest a ton in sunglasses because you know you'll lose them, crush them or just give them away, this is probably your best bet. They DO feel plasticy and having owned real Ray-Ban Wayfarer's, the difference in quality is immediately apparent. Don't let that stop you though if all you're after is the look, because these do capture the look very well.

My main gripes are that they are incredibly easy to scratch. I used to toss my Ray-Bans in my bags and pockets without thinking twice about it, they saw dips in the ocean, lakes, and pools over the summer and I dropped them about a half dozen times from pretty great heights. They took all that abuse and still looked fantastic. By contrast, I've had these cheap knockoffs for about a week and there is already pits in the plastic and visible scratches on the lenses. One of the screws in the hinges has already began to back out and, it may just be my imagination, but they seem to take smudges so much easier I'm constantly cleaning them.

Your experience may be different, but my main point is if you want the real thing, get the real thing. Don't get these expecting them to feel, act or last like the real thing. They won't. Instead, get them as some cheapie on the go glasses that you wouldn't be bummed to lose or destroy. Chances are they won't last long enough for you to build a significant attachment anyway.

I bought my first pair of Maui Jims in 1999, I still have them and still wear them to this day which should say something about the excellent quality. I've had lost screws replaced a few times and the nose pads swapped out but the frames and lenses should last a lifetime if you are careful. I was so happy with my first pair I now own three very different styles and they are all excellent.

This Kapalua pair is one of my favorites; they are super lightweight and hold fast to the frame of your face. They were originally designed for surfers/sports so they don't slide around a lot. They have superior polarized protection due to the origins of outdoor sports use which also makes them one of my favorite pairs to drive in. The visual clarity I experience while driving is so much better, especially during hours when I would face intense glare which the lenses help control and reduce. I have yet to find a brand that does this better.

One way I've manage not to loose them in a dozen years is that when I have to take them off my eyes for a few minutes like in a store, I put them around my neck NOT the top of my head; the wraparound style does not get stretched badly when around the neck and there's less chance of them falling off.

One added side benefit for me is when I happen to get migraines, these are a great help to me; they aren't too dark to wear in the house but give just enough light/glare reduction that it they can sometimes help calm the lighting conditions that make migraines worse.

Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommended!

I bought a pair of these in Maui in 2005. They are light as a feather, and maintain position during vigorous physical activity such as running and cross training outdoors. Additionally, the titanium frame wraparound design gives very good peripheral vision protection from sun and wind. The frame fits firmly and does not slide off even with heavy sweating, but remains comfortable. The lens finish has survived several unfortunate trips to the asphalt (when I dropped them, not because they came off my face and fell) without even a scratch. It is easy to forget that I am wearing them because they are so light and comfortable. I am looking at a pair to get for my mother because I love them so much! Highly recommended and definitely will purchase another pair.

I have been a big fan of Maui Jim sun glasses for more than a decade & these were priced very attractively. The only short coming is I will have to take them to an optician to adjust the nose pieces to fit better.

Extra plus- never wear a backpack if you can help it. Find a better way to secure the load to your bike.
